Morning Meds, Day 16
Sweet Nothings
(Part 2)
There was a rumored 400 years of silence between the Old and
New Testaments of the Bible. Sometimes there is a melody in that silence,
sometimes there is just an anticipation that builds and builds.
I’m sure I won’t rival THAT
amount of time, but how ready I have become to hear God’s voice, anything…just
anything it seems will do. That seems significant when what I heard this
morning, for instance, was not what I thought I wanted to hear.
It’s such a privilege to hear Him
speak. There’s such a grace in experiencing the “peace that passes all
understanding” that Jesus spoke about. Like a mother giving birth to a baby,
all the pain is forgotten, when the promise arrives.
