Business is Emotional

Morning Meds 2.30

Business Is Emotional

"There's no crying in baseball!" Says the famous movie. Many of us feel the same way about our businesses. Women often feel uncomfortable about the emotions they feel in business knowing that we shouldn't make decisions based purely on emotion.

And I second that emotion! But as emotions began to rise for me in a couple of business deals I was working on this week I remembered my Morning Meds from the past weeks and decided to sit with the emotions a bit and let them teach me, like symptoms, what might be the concerns in having in these situations.

It's an important note that if we stay with our emotions too long we go from an instructional session to a pity party. Be honest with yourself when that's happening. When that happens my favorite mood changer is music...what's yours?

This week I included an audio message for people with a network marketing business that may be a mood changer for you and may help to reconnect you to why you joined your business in the first place.

Broken

Morning Meds 2.29

Broken

It's frustrating when you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong. This past week I got a chance to take a dose of my own Morning Meds from last week. (Click here to view video)

Emotions being like physical symptoms became very real to me as I dealt with fatigue and minor stomach and head pain all because of some emotions. I spent time with them this week, trying not to judge them and let them speak to me of their origin.
Believing there is an answer, in the face of not knowing it, is one of the most radical assertions. It's faith in action. It is the heart of "be angry and don't sin," (Ephesians4:26) noticing you feel a certain way, but adding your wisdom before making a decision.

So here's to emotional health, not walking on emotionally broken legs, but getting help, getting support and giving time for restoration.
